  • Dennis Brawley

    CFP®

    Portrait of Dennis Brawley

    Role

When Dennis’ parents decided to retire, all they received was a confusing packet of paperwork to complete and a toll-free number to call. The options were poorly explained and they faced decisions they didn’t thoroughly understand. Later, they worked with several advisors and attorneys but didn’t get sound advice specific to their situation. Dennis wanted to help families avoid some of the hurdles his family faced, which is why he chose this profession. Dennis also worked diligently to achieve the CFP® designation because he knew it would benefit clients. Clients deserve to retire confidently. They need a high degree of comfort and understanding with both their choices and their investments. Creating a financial plan is an integral part of gaining that comfort and confidence.

    Background

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and gaining real-world experience with several Fortune 500 Companies, Dennis launched his career in financial services. He has focused his career around building, monitoring, and optimizing financial plans and has experience in multiple planning platforms. Over the past decade, he worked as a Financial Advisor as part of a team at one of the largest national financial firms. He specialized in creating income strategies that include pensions, social security, portfolio income and annuities. He is also well-versed in healthcare strategies and estate planning. He believes planning should address two primary objectives: maximizing income and protecting the interests of everyone involved in the process. Dennis has a strong work ethic and has always believed in putting the client’s best interests first.

    In his free time

Dennis is as passionate about his free time as he is when working alongside clients. His interests include active time in the outdoors with his wife and family, such as trail hiking, walking with his Labrador Retriever, or landscaping and gardening around their home. He has completed a marathon as well as a 50k Ultra Race in Western PA. He also enjoys live music, sporting events, and playing acoustic guitar. Dennis volunteers his time within his community as well, supporting several youth and military veteran organizations.

Ed’s favorite client moments are the ones where someone realizes their retirement is more secure, and more exciting, than they ever thought possible.

    Background

Ed has built his entire career around one core belief: everyone deserves honest, unbiased financial advice, and he’s spent 25 years proving it’s possible.

At Vanguard, he saw firsthand how investment costs quietly erode wealth over time, and made it his mission to help clients keep more of what they earned. At TIAA, he learned to navigate the conflicts of interest that plague so much of the financial industry, always putting his clients’ interests first. At Facet, he embraced a fully virtual model that used technology to deliver sophisticated, personalized planning without the excessive fees that traditional firms charge.

At Boldin, Ed combines powerful planning technology with deep, one-on-one guidance to help each client build a retirement strategy that’s as unique as they are.

Ed graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in business administration and music, a combination that sharpened both his analytical instincts and his ability to truly listen to the people he serves.

Bob became a financial planner after witnessing firsthand how money insecurity can impact families. Growing up in a financially strained household, he saw the stress, sleepless nights, and difficult conversations that come with financial uncertainty. That experience ignited his passion to help others break free from money stress and build true financial confidence. Bob specializes in lifetime tax reduction strategies and tax-efficient retirement income planning because he believes the biggest expense most people face isn’t their mortgage, it’s taxes. This native New Jerseyan enjoys hiking, swimming, and reading non-fiction when he’s not buried in tax code. Bob’s guilty pleasure? Trash TV (yes, he watches 90 Day Fiancé). As a mental health advocate, he believes money stress is real and people deserve support that sees the full picture. When he needs to recharge, you’ll find him in his hammock near any body of water or relaxing with his cat Bella by his side. • Heath Hampton

    CFP®

    Heath Hampton CFP

    Role

For more than two decades, Heath Hampton, CFP®, has helped people make confident financial decisions by bringing clarity to every part of their financial lives. His approach is comprehensive and deeply personal, connecting retirement income, investments, taxes, estate planning, insurance, benefits, equity compensation, real estate, long term strategy, and more into one clear picture. Whether someone is preparing for retirement or navigating a major life transition, Heath’s goal is always the same, which is to help them understand what is possible and make decisions that support the life they want.

    Background

Over the course of his career, Heath has led and scaled the financial planning department for a Fortune 500 company, coached and developed dozens of financial advisors, and served as an advisor within some of the largest financial institutions in the country. These experiences shaped his belief that great planning is both technical and deeply human. He spends as much time understanding a client’s motivations, fears, habits, and decision making patterns as he does analyzing the numbers. Behavioral finance plays a central role in his work, ensuring that every plan he builds is deeply personal, aligned with how each client thinks and feels about money, and designed to support the life they truly want to live. And here at Boldin Advisors, he is back to what he loves most, which is working directly with clients and helping them live their best lives.

What matters most to Heath is helping clients see that their financial life often has more flexibility and freedom than they realize. Many enter retirement feeling cautious or uncertain about spending. Heath loves showing them that many times they are more secure than they think, that they can take the trip, enjoy their lifestyle, or pursue the experiences they have been putting off. When clients send photos from those trips they once thought were out of reach, that is when the work feels most meaningful.

Heath graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in International Business and later earned his MBA in Finance from Mercer University.

    In his free time

When he is not working with clients, Heath is most at home outdoors with his family, fly fishing, hiking, or camping in the North Georgia mountains. He also loves to cook, especially Cajun food (ask him about his gumbo!). And as a proud Georgia graduate and lifelong fan, if you hear someone yelling Go Dawgs in the fall, it is probably him.
