BackgroundMike joined the Boldin team in 2024 after 30+ years in consulting and corporate America. He is a retired former executive pursuing his dreams in retirement as he works to publish a book, provide support to those planning for retirement, act as an AARP Tax Aide volunteer, and spend time with his family.

Role“Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning” – Winston Churchill. These words have served Frances well throughout her career and when planning her own financial future. Her goal as a Boldin Planner coach is to educate and empower Boldin community members to design robust financial plans so that advance worrying is replaced with informed confidence.
BackgroundOriginally trained as a CPA in Australia, Frances has enjoyed more than 25 years leading major transformation, risk and compliance related initiatives for international financial services institutions in Europe and the USA. Frances initially joined Boldin as a subscriber and is pleased to report that the Boldin planner gave her the confidence to step back from her corporate career a couple of years ago so that she could pivot to work more aligned with her sense of purpose and mission.
In Her Free TimeFrances tries to be Mom to her increasingly independent teen and also serves on the Board of a children’s performing arts non profit. Now that she has more flexibility in her schedule she is enjoying learning French and rediscovering her love of the piano. To let off steam she rides her bike or runs in Central Park.
RoleJennifer Latimore believes that true wealth lies in the ability to fully experience life, a philosophy inspired by Henry David Thoreau. As a financial coach, Jennifer is deeply invested in increasing your financial literacy and helping you connect your daily financial decisions with your long-term objectives. She dedicates time to building a strong rapport with each individual she coaches and knows that understanding your specific circumstances, goals, and values are key to creating a personalized, robust, and adaptable financial plan.Jennifer’s meticulous approach ensures that you feel a sense of empowerment, confidence, and security about your financial future.
BackgroundJennifer hails from Georgia but comes to Boldin by way of Chicago, where she began a successful career in entertainment as an actor. Her love of the stage transformed into a desire to help her fellow performers achieve their financial aspirations. While in the Midwest she was a proud member of the AFCPE and provided financial guidance to those with pressing financial needs. Now based in Los Angeles, Jennifer has expanded her expertise by passing the California Life & Health Insurance exam, the FINRA SIE and Series 7 exams, and the NASAA Series 66 exam, developing a comprehensive understanding of the financial services and securities industries. Her joy still remains in guiding individuals to create a financial plan which aligns their financial decisions with what they truly value, fostering financial confidence, and enabling them to make their life goals a reality.
In Her Free TimeJennifer enjoys spending time with her young pup Bishop and exploring the LA dining scene. She might also be found on a stage or set, empowering audiences through her storytelling. One of these days she plans to make a trip to Big Bear Lake and take on the slopes!
RoleWhile “if you want it done right, do it yourself” has its merits, Michael believes the right tools—and the right guidance—are key when outcomes matter most (like, your financial future). As a coach, he helps simplify complex financial decisions (sometimes reframing issues outside the spreadsheet), spot risks, and highlight areas that might otherwise be overlooked. Whether guiding users through Boldin’s features or offering a second set of eyes on their plans, Michael empowers users to play their best financial game with efficiency and peace of mind.
BackgroundFollowing his service in the Air Force, Michael embarked on his finance career with Charles Schwab’s brokerage team before transitioning to Schwab Private Client’s advisory team. Next, Michael helped grow a boutique advisory firm focused on high net worth families. This experience fueled his strong desire to enhance the accessibility and standards of financial education and guidance, a principle that aligns with Boldin’s core values.
In His Free TimeOne of Michael’s love languages is “quality time”, so he enjoys spending time with his wife, who does not share this same love language and is perfectly content with personal time. He loves to be outside and active when able: biking, paddling, hiking, playing tennis, or landscaping at his home, preferably with his wife or a friend he has successfully convinced to join. Michael enjoys listening to music and when time allows, he makes attempts at learning to play (not very well) the guitar.

RoleWith an education in engineering and a gift for translating “financial Japanese” into plain English, Ariel excels at bringing both technical precision and clarity to her role as a Financial Coach at Boldin. Her coaching style is grounded in real-life experience, a love of learning, and a love for teaching. Whether she’s guiding users through a live plan review, answering strategy questions, or mapping out next steps, Ariel helps users not only navigate their financial journeys—but own them, making sure every session feels like a meaningful step forward.
BackgroundDedicated to learning, refining her craft, and “wealth gaming” for herself and others, Ariel has spent the past nine years gaining insight across both industry giants and boutique firms—working with everyone from ultra high net worth clients to everyday families. In one of her most recent roles, she spent her days happily nerding out in advanced financial planning software, deep in the details of complex plans. Boldin was the perfect pivot for her. Now, instead of doing it for a few, she serves more people by doing it WITH the many.
In Her Free TimeWhen she’s not empowering people to design a future they love, you might find her spending time with her Muffin (yes, that’s what she calls her husband in front of EVERYBODY), attempting to plan the development of the most complicated garden oasis imaginable (she’s definitely overthinking it), turning her house into a home, or studying for her private pilot’s license—because she’s a planner, both professionally and personally.
