Mike Pappis is a dedicated CFP® professional who takes pride in helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals and live the retirement of their dreams. He excels at integrating the various components of our often complex financial lives, such as taxes, investments, cash flow, expenses, insurance and more, to create a holistic financial plan. Previously, Mike became an expert in the Boldin software, coaching hundreds of users on how to accurately assemble their unique financial plans by utilizing the tool’s various features.
Background
With over 11 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mike has worked in various segments, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience. He began his career after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a finance degree, working at a wealth management firm where he created plans for hundreds of high-net worth individuals and families mostly nearing or in retirement. During this time, Mike received his Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duquesne University and became a CFP® professional as well. He has also run his own virtual financial planning practice and worked with multiple FinTech firms across the country. Additionally, Mike is an IRS Enrolled Agent, further enhancing his ability to plan around the tax implications of clients’ financial decisions. Mike is passionate about offering fee-only, advice-only financial planning and investment guidance while acting in a fiduciary capacity.
In his free time
Mike lives in Pittsburgh, PA and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. On the rare sunny days in Pittsburgh, he enjoys playing tennis or going for a walk around his neighborhood. When he’s not reading about the best retirement distribution strategy, Mike enjoys trying new restaurants in the Pittsburgh area and traveling to visit friends in other cities.
